Data processed
Natytech News requires no account and collects no identifying data. We use no analytics, advertising or social media tools.
- Preferences (language, countries, theme, saved articles) are stored only on your device (browser local storage). They are never sent to us.
- Technical logs: like any web server, our host temporarily records the IP address, date and requested page for security and proper operation. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: 14 days maximum.
- Connection country: when you open the app, your IP address is checked on our server against a local database to derive only the country (e.g. "ES"), so we can show news from your country. Neither the IP address nor the country is stored for this purpose, and no data is shared with third parties. You can choose your countries at any time in Settings.
- Anonymous audience measurement: to know which pages and stories interest our readers, our server counts pages viewed and articles opened, with no cookies and no third-party services. It only keeps: the page, the date, the country (derived as above), the language, the type of device and browser, the site you came from and the words searched. Your IP address is never stored: it is only used to compute an anonymous fingerprint that changes every day, so it is impossible to identify you or follow you from one day to the next. These statistics are kept for 13 months at most. Legal basis: legitimate interest (improving the service). You can turn it off in Settings › Anonymous audience measurement; your browser's "Do Not Track" / "Global Privacy Control" signal is respected.
Recipients and transfers
Technical data is processed by our hosting provider (OVHcloud — OVH Hosting Inc., Montréal (Canada)). Where the server is located outside the European Union, the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.
Automatic translations only process the text of the articles, never data about you.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction (GDPR). Write to news@natytech.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
